When you arrive at Bay View Farm, your eyes will immediately be drawn to the amazing coastline and you may see trawlers with their day's catch approaching Banjo Pier as they enter Looe Harbour where shark fishing boats and trawlers rub shoulders at the quayside.
Bay View Farm is an ideal location for exploring the coastal paths and nearby beaches. From our entrance turn left and a short stroll will bring you to Bodigga Cliff which offers a peaceful setting with seating where you can absorb the beauty of your surroundings amid spectacular views, bird song and an abundance of wild flowers. From Bodigga Cliff you can take the coastal path leading you to Seaton beach - an excellent walk for dog lovers as dogs are welcomed on Seaton beach.
From our entrance bear right to walk down to the South West coastal path to Black Rock beach where you will find the Beach Cafe and Watersports Club. For the more energetic, continue on to the fishing village of Looe with its quaint, hideaway streets, harbour, beach and cafes offering delicious cream teas. The local 18-hole golf course at Bindown, Looe enjoys panoramic coastal views.
Further west along the coast from Looe are the picturesque fishing villages of Polperro and Mevagissey and the scenic sea port of Fowey, home of the renowed author Daphne du Maurier.
Just a short walk back up the lane to Bay View Farm is the entrance to the Monkey Sanctuary, home to woolly monkeys and rescued pet monkeys.
